This draft outlines our priorities, ambitions, and a five-year action plan to improve outdoor recreation in County Wicklow.

Please note:

• The Plan has been prepared by Outscape on behalf of Wicklow Sports and Recreation Partnership and Wicklow County Council.
• The development of the Plan was managed by a steering group of representatives from Wicklow Sports and Recreation Partnership, Wicklow County Council, County Wicklow Partnership, Coillte, NPWS and the Wicklow Outdoor Recreation Stakeholder Forum.
• The Plan was supported by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) and has been produced in compliance with the ‘Guidelines for the Development of County Outdoor Recreation Plans’.
• The Plan is the output of extensive consultation with stakeholders at a national, county and local community level.
• This is a DRAFT, your feedback will be considered before the Plan is finalised and launched.
