We are excited to announce our lineup of diverse and inclusive camps designed to cater to a wide range of interests and age groups. Whether you’re a water lover, a sports enthusiast, or an outdoor explorer, we have the perfect camp for you.
About the Camps
Bray Sailing Club Try Sailing Camp
Wicklow Sports & Recreation Partnership in collaboration with Bray Sailing Club and part funded by CYPSC are delivering ASD Teens Bray Sailing Club Taster Sessions.
These taster sessions are provided for Teenagers with and Intellectual Disability or on the Autistic Spectrum.
There are 3 Taster Session times to choose from:
Thursday 1st June 9:30am to 12:30pm
Friday 2nd June 9:30am to 12:30pm
Friday 2nd June 1:30pm to 4:30pm
A high ratio of instructor to participant will be provided with 1 or 2 participants to 1 instructor depending on each individual.
Life Jackets/Buoyancy Aids will be provided. If you have a wet suit bring it along, if you don’t have a wet suit we will provide a wet suit to use for the session. For footwear you must wear either wet shoes or old runners, NO CROCS. A light rain jacket is recommended as being out on the water can be cold in the wind.
At this time we are only accepting expressions of interest to take part in this programme. The deadline to submit your interest for the programme is Thursday, May 25th.
Enniskerry Multisport Activity Camp
The camp is situated in Enniskerry, offering a variety of multisport activities in small groups. Engaging games will be conducted to enhance gross motor and fine motor skills. Lisa from Active Kids Academy will lead the group, with the assistance of instructors and volunteers.
Camp 1: 10th – 12th July, from 1PM to 3PM. Suitable for children aged 5 to 8: €45
Camp 2: 17th – 19th July, from 1PM to 3:30PM. Suitable for children aged 9 to 12: €50
Our participant-to-coach/volunteer ratio is 2 or 3 participants to 1 coach/volunteer.
Every camp attendee will receive a Camp Goodie bag.
This camp is subsidised by CYPSC, covering over 50% of the costs.
Blessington Outdoor Camp
Situated at CP Adventures in Russborough, this camp offers a range of activities including kayaking/canoeing, archery, wall climbing, abseiling, ropes course, and zipline. Each camp session lasts for 3 hours, allowing participants to experience two different activities each day.
Our participant-to-coach/volunteer ratio is 2 or 3 participants to 1 coach/volunteer.
Every camper will receive a Camp Goodie bag.
This camp is subsidised by Healthy Wicklow, covering over 50% of the costs.
Camp 1: 24th – 25th July, from 9:30AM – 12:30PM. Designed for children aged 7-11: €50
Camp 2: 24th – 25th July, from 1:15PM – 4:15PM. Designed for children aged 12 and above: €50
Inclusive Surf Camp
Join our exciting Inclusive Surf Camp designed to provide a fun and inclusive surfing experience for all. All equipment will be provided, and our experienced instructors will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Parents/Carers must stay in wetsuit in the water to assist. The location of this event has not been confirmed, it is predicted it will take place in Brittas Bay or Magheramore Beach.
Camp 1: 31st July – 2nd August, from 3:30PM – 4:30PM. Designed for children aged 10-13: €70
Camp 2: 31st July – 2nd August, from 5PM – 6PM. Designed for children aged 14+: €70
Camp 3: 3rd – 5th August, from 3:30PM – 4:30PM. Designed for children aged 10-13: €70
Camp 4: 3rd – 5th August, from 5PM – 6PM. Designed for children aged 14+: €70
