Her Outdoors Week Returns to Wicklow!
11th – 17th August 2025
We’re delighted to welcome back Her Outdoors Week 2025, a national initiative that celebrates and encourages more women and girls to enjoy the outdoors. Running from 11th to 17th August, the week shines a light on the wide range of outdoor activities available and provides accessible opportunities for females of all ages, abilities, and experience levels to get involved.
This year, we’re also focusing on encouraging long-term, sustainable outdoor recreation habits. Building regular movement into everyday life, particularly in natural settings, can have a lasting impact on wellbeing.
To support this, we recently launched the Wicklow Trails App — a free, easy-to-use guide to exploring the stunning landscapes of County Wicklow. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a gentle stroll, the app offers a wide variety of trail options to suit all levels. It includes trail maps, route details, difficulty ratings, and safety tips to help you get outdoors confidently and consistently.
