Taking place in the Murrough Carpark from 4pm to 7pm, the event is free and open to all ages and abilities. Whether you’re an avid cyclist, just learning to ride, or simply looking for a fun and active evening with the family, this festival has something for everyone.
What’s On:
Street Velodrome
Experience the thrill of Ireland’s only pop-up velodrome. Bikes and helmets are provided – just turn up and give it a go. Suitable for all ages.
Learn to Cycle Taster Session
A supportive space for beginners and those looking to build their confidence on two wheels.

Disco Yoga Session – 6pm
Get moving with a fun, music-filled yoga class. Suitable for all fitness levels and a great way to kick off the evening. Bring your mat and get involved!

This Learn to Cycle class is for children who cannot cycle without stabilisers.
Our Learn to Cycle class is an exciting and engaging program designed to teach children the fundamentals of cycling in a safe and supportive environment. Aimed at children aged 5-12 years old, our class is perfect for beginners who are eager to hop on a bike and start pedaling.
Led by experienced instructors, our Learn to Cycle class focuses on building essential skills to help children become confident and proficient cyclists. The class starts with basic bike handling skills, including balance, steering, and stopping.
Parent/Carer must stay to support the child and learn skills for practice after the session.
Own bike and helmet are required. Helmets must be worn during the programme, so practice at home might be needed. Please remove all stabilisers from bikes.

Join us on Saturday, May10th, for an exciting Mountain Bike Tour at Biking.ie Ballinastoe Wood! This event is perfect for beginners who are eager to learn the basics of mountain biking and explore some of the most breathtaking trails in the country.
Bikes will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a sense of adventure!
At the start of the event, riders will receive a safety briefing on how to properly use the mountain bikes and securely fit a helmet. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamental skills necessary to safely navigate designated mountain bike trails. You’ll learn about bike handling, body positioning, and essential techniques to tackle different terrains.
This pass gives you free bike rental for Sunday the 11th of May exclusively from 9:30AM to 3PM. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer to an alternative day as we have limited spaces per day.
