Walkers will enjoy the scenic coastal view from Bray Head. At the top of Bray Head, there is a stone cross which was placed there in 1950 during the Holy Year. From here you get a panoramic view of Bray, North East Wicklow and Dublin Bay. You can also see some of Bray Head’s neighbouring mountains, the Great and Little Sugar Loaf and Carrickgollogan, locally known as Kathy Gallagher.
In the spirit of Women in Sport Week we conducted a series of Q&As aimed to showcase the talent, dedication, and resilience of Wicklow’s female athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
These interviews not only celebrate the accomplishments of Wicklow’s women in sport but also provide valuable insights into their experiences, challenges, and aspirations.
