Join the Fun: Let’s Play Wicklow 2026
Wicklow Sports & Recreation Partnership is celebrating National Play Day this July! To mark the week, we are bringing free, pop-up Let’s Play Wicklow events to your local community. Just drop in and play, with no booking required.
These inclusive events are supported by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth under the national theme ‘Play for All’, alongside Healthy Wicklow and Wicklow Libraries. This annual initiative highlights just how vital play is for a child’s health, growth, and well-being.
What happens on the day?
Perfect for small children and primary school ages, these pop-up events are filled with energy and movement. Just drop by and let the fun begin with music and a fantastic selection of classic garden games, including:
- Giant Jenga
- Giant Connect 4
- Snakes and Ladders
- Cornhole Boards
- Parachute games
- Bubbles
No need to book, just come along and play.
🎒 Borrow the Fun All Year Round: Wicklow Libraries feature custom-made ‘Let’s Play’ packs available to borrow completely free of charge.
