We are thrilled to announce Her Outdoors Week 2024, taking place from August 12th to 18th! This exciting event is designed to inspire, educate, and encourage more females to get out into the great outdoors and experience everything it has to offer whilst being physically active.
What is Her Outdoors Week?
Her Outdoors Week aims to celebrate the myriad benefits of outdoor activities. Whether it’s a simple cycle with friends, a dip in the sea, or a challenging day of rock climbing and kayaking, this initiative seeks to motivate women everywhere to plan their own adventures, explore the beauty of the outdoors, and try something new.
Call for Collaboration
To make this week truly special, we are inviting clubs, community groups, and suppliers to collaborate with us. If your sport falls under the category of Outdoor Recreational Sport, we want to hear from you! Contact us here.
Within the Irish sport context, there are a significant number of recognised outdoor sports, including:

- Cycling (All Disciplines)

This list is not exhaustive, and there may be other sports that may be recognised and included in our work in the future.
