Pickleball has to be one of the best sports invented for the Irish climate. It is played on a badminton court with tennis net and hard paddles. It was created by combining elements of several racket sports such as badminton, tennis and table tennis. Players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net and it can be played with two or four players. The ball is light in weight with 26–40 round holes. A pickleball court is similar to badminton, with a net similar to tennis, and the paddles are similar to those in table tennis.
