1. Local Sports Programme Manager (Temporary – 3 Year Specified Purpose Contract)

• Salary: €55,090 – €67,304 (includes 2nd LSI) gross per annum

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Local Sports Programme Manager. This role involves overseeing the delivery of sports programmes across Wicklow and working with the Local Sports Partnership (LSP) to create sustainable opportunities for increased participation in physical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development, delivery, and reporting of the LSP’s Strategy and Annual Operational Plan.
• Manage and coordinate staff, ensuring effective performance monitoring and development.
• Create and implement programmes tailored to specific target groups within the community.
• Conduct research on community needs and prepare reports to guide the future direction of sports initiatives.
• Build partnerships with local groups and stakeholders to support the growth of sporting activities.

2. Local Sports European Fund Officer (Temporary – 3 Year Specified Purpose Contract)

• Salary: €49,706 – €59,456 (includes 2nd LSI) gross per annum

Application Deadline:  THURSDAY 3^RD OCTOBER, 2024 AT 12 NOON SHARP

We are also recruiting for a Local Sports European Fund Officer to manage and deliver sports programmes funded by European initiatives. The role includes securing funding, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage European-funded programmes and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and local communities to implement impactful sports initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring all goals and reporting requirements are met.
• Identify and secure new funding opportunities to support local sports development.
