Wicklow Local Sports Partnership is an Irish Sports Council initiative, which is managed by Wicklow County Council under its Community & Enterprise Section. At present Wicklow Local Sports Partnership is overseen by a Board of Management, which is comprised of representatives from agencies/organisations/sports clubs in the County whose remit or responsibility includes sports provision and development. There are currently sixteen Board members of Wicklow Local Sports Partnership who meet on a quarterly basis to review and plan the work of the Local Sports Partnership. While on a monthly basis, Wicklow Local Sports Partnership is overseen by an Executive Committee, which is made up of five representatives of the Board. The role of the Board is:

Wicklow Local Sports Partnership is staffed by a full time Sports Co-ordinator whose role is to effectively lead and co-ordinate the Local Sports Partnership in the County. Wicklow Local Sports Partnership and its key stakeholders aim to become a leader in sports development, provision, delivery and co-ordination in Co. Wicklow. Wicklow Local Sports Partnership continually measures and monitors performance on an ongoing basis to establish the effectiveness of the Local Sports Partnership.
